My Best Friend is owned and run by Jon & Clara Roff. The business was started in 2015 providing dog care and grooming service from their home in the Cotswold village of Langford. The business has developed over the years and grew via franchises before opening the salon and store in Cirencester back in 2023.

Jon & Clara started their raw food journey back in 2012 with their first dog Rufus, a Patterdale / Springer cross. Rufus has always suffered with allergies and during the summer months became exceptionally uncomfortable due to his itching, he also suffered with yeasty ears and a very dull coat. They were reluctant to take the steroids recommended by the vets so started to explore a more natural and healthy raw diet for Rufus. After a short period of time the results were remarkable, the itching almost stopped completely, he had more energy and his coat was transformed. He still suffered to a small degree over the peak of summer but this could be managed with the occasional antihistamine. Rufus went on to live until the ripe old age of 14 with virtually no health issues!!

When Jon & Clara had the opportunity to open a doggy shop in Cirencester along side their grooming salon raw dog food and natural options were always going to be at the heart of the business.
