At My Best Friend in Cirencester we only sell raw dog food that meets a number of important criteria. The meat, where possible, should by sourced from the UK and should always be traceable and of human grade and finally be DEFRA approved. Naked Dog fits these criteria.

Q. What is the bone content in Naked Dog raw dog food?

A. Bone content is a maximum of 10%

Q. Which vegetables do you use in Naked Dog original?

A. Vegetables are seasonal, usually kale and sometimes green cabbage. In the wild, wolves and dogs are self-selectors too and will feed on grass, greens, berries and other certain fruits. That’s why they include some digestible vitamin rich plants in our meals.

Q. Are there any additives in Naked Dog raw dog food?

A. Naked Dog is completely free of artificial additives and preservatives. Nothing in there but completely natural ingredients. Raw dog food how it should be.

Q. What is the fact content of Naked Dog raw?

A. Almost all of our range of raw meals are under 10% fat with the exception of Naked Pup Beef at 13.4%, Active Duck and Active Goose at 12% and Lamb Pure at 14%.

Q. How long will Naked Dog food keep in the fridge?

A. The food is quite safe to keep in the fridge. It will last the same time frame as your own meat does in your individual fridge. This is usually 3-4 days. Always follow the same hygiene rules as your own human-grade raw meat. After preparation, always wash down surfaces with an anti-bacterial cleaner and thoroughly wash your hands.

Q. Is Naked Dog a complete raw dog food?

A. Naked Dog meals are Complete and Balanced to what are known as the Fediaf guidelines, which are EU the guidelines for a commercial pet food. Created with fresh, uncooked, ingredients, our meals also contain the nutrients not included on those guidelines such as the essential fatty acids (eg. Omega 3) and the multitude of powerful antioxidants in fresh plant nutrition. Only the Pure Meals are labelled Complementary as they do not meet the Fediaf guidelines for a commercially Complete food. Naked have created a supplement that, once added to our Pure meals, supports your dog to receive everything they need from their daily Pure meals. This is The Answer supplement.
